Jennifer Love Hewitt is a mom -- and a wife! How's that for professional discretion?

"The Client List" star and her costar-beau Brian Hallisay welcomed their baby girl on Tuesday and also confirmed that they had tied the knot, her rep told Us Weekly.

"Jennifer Love Hewitt and her husband Brian Hallisay are thrilled to announce the birth of their daughter," the rep said.

Her "husband." See what they did there? Nothing quite rolls off the tongue like "Jennifer Love Hewitt-Hallisay."

The rep added that "Autumn James Hallisay was born on November 26."

No word yet on the moniker's inspiration or additional birth details.

Another source told the mag that Hewitt, 34, and Hallisay, 35, "got married recently in private."

That contradicts what the well-endowed "Party of Five" alum said at a Pampers event last August. 

"I'm not putting that on myself also! We're going to wait," she said of getting married. "I'm going to get down and be cute again and then we'll be ready to go."

Hewitt announced her pregnancy and subsequent engagement to Hallisay in June after the couple had been dating since 2012. Hallisay reportedly popped the question in May while they were vacationing in Europe.

Being pregnant "is an awesome thing," Hewitt told People. "It definitely has its moments where you're like, 'Oh my gosh this is crazy,' but it's been beautiful."

The newlyweds initially met on the set of the short-lived NBC comedy "Love Bites." They later reconnected on Lifetime's "The Client List," in which Hallisay plays on-screen husband to Hewitt's double-life-leading call girl. 

Lifetime canceled the show earlier this month after its two-season run because Hewitt's pregnancy reportedly contributed to a delay in third-season decision-making, Show Tracker reported. Show runners are said to have faced creative conflicts about the pregnancy's on-screen manifestation and who would father Hewitt's character's child in the series. 

But Hewitt said she was excited about the "blessing" her first child would bring following her mother's death last year after a battle with cancer. 

"I really feel like, while [her death has] been the most devastating blow to my heart and my spirit, something about this baby has been a gift from her," Hewitt recently told E! News. 

"It has somehow been able to replace incredible grief with incredible joy. I'm very, very, very grateful for that. As every day approaches, I ask myself a lot why is she not here for this? Am I going to get through it without her? But I know she's out there and she's watching me and helping me and I'm going to be the best mother possible in her honor."

Thanksgiving Basics: How long does it take to roast a turkey? - Los Angeles Times

Judge when your turkey is done cooking by taking its temperature rather than by looking at the clock. There are far too many variables for any recipe to be able to accurately predict exactly how long your bird will take. And 5 or 10 degrees is enough to make the difference between a perfect turkey and one that’s over- or under-cooked.

What is the proper temperature for a roasted turkey? For years the Department of Agriculture called for 180 degrees, but that was a sure recipe for a tired, overcooked bird. Now the recommendation is a much saner 165 degrees.

But notice that if you’re roasting a stuffed turkey, you’ll need to take the temperature deep in the center of the stuffing, by which time the breast meat could be overcooked. For that reason, it’s usually best to cook the stuffing outside the bird (this will also result in a much shorter cooking time).

Note also that there is usually at least a 10-degree increase in temperature that comes in the 30 minutes between removing the bird from the oven and carving it. That "push" after roasting should result in a final temperature of around 175 degrees.

To take the temperature, insert an instant-read thermometer in the deepest part of the thigh, nearly to the hip joint, but taking care not to touch the bone. This is the area that is always the slowest to cook.

There are other indicators for doneness. Press the fleshy part of the thigh with your fingers; if the meat feels soft, or if the leg moves up and down easily and the hip joint gives readily, the turkey should be done. Doneness can also be determined by inserting a long-tined fork into the thickest area of the inner thigh. If the juices run clear, not pink, the turkey should be done.

While you should always use temperature as the most reliable indicator of doneness, it does help to have a rough timetable for scheduling guidance. According to the USDA, for an unstuffed turkey, you should allow 2 3/4 to 3 hours for an 8- to 12-pound turkey; 3 to 3 3/4 hours for a 12- to 14-pounder; 3 3/4 to 4 1/4 hours for a 14- to 18-pounder; 4 1/4 to 4 1/2 hours for an 18- to 20-pounder and 4 1/2 to 5 hours for an 20- to 24-pounder.

For a stuffed turkey, allow 3 to 3 1/2 hours for an 8- to 12-pound turkey; 3 1/2 to 4 hours for a 12- to 14-pounder; 4 to 4 1/4 hours for a 14- to 18-pounder; 4 1/4 to 4 3/4 hours for an 18- to 20-pounder; and 4 3/4 to 5 1/4 hours for a 20- to 24-pounder.

Notice that these times are based on a steady 325-degree roasting temperature. Hotter temperatures will shorten the cooking time. Also, dry-brining, for some reason, has consistently shown to shorten cooking times.

No one matched the winning Mega Millions numbers on Nov. 26, increasing the jackpot to $230 million.

In the meantime, tonight's Powerball jackpot is $60 million (Nov. 27).

The Nov. 26 drawing uses the the new matrix for Mega Millions, according to Lottery officials.

The new matrix features more numbers for Match 5 and fewer Mega numbers; the changes give players a chance to win more prizes. The changes are supposed to increase the size of jackpots.

According to the Mega Millions official website, 5 tickets in the multi-state lottery game matched 5 numbers, winning $1 million each. (The $1 million prize is an increase from $250,000.) The tickets were purchased in Florida, Illinois, New York (2) and Texas.

One ticket holder used the Megaplier and won $5 million.

In Michigan, there were no major Mega Millions winners on Nov. 26, according to Michigan Lottery officials:

• However, 2 ticket holders matched 4 White Balls, plus the Gold Mega Ball, and won $5,000 each.

• And 2 ticket holders won $2,500 each, matching 4 of 5 numbers, with the Megaplier.

• More than 38,000 Michigan players won at least $2.

• More than 80,000 players won $1 each.

Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. Five balls are drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 75; the Mega ball is drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 15.

The next Mega Millions drawing is Nov. 29. The jackpot will be $230 million.

Tonight's Classic Lotto 47 jackpot is $1.25 million. The drawing is 7:29 p.m. Deadline 7:08 p.m.

Tonight's Fantasy 5 jackpot is $180,000. The drawing is also 7:29 p.m. Deadline 7:08 p.m.

Tonight's Powerball jackpot is $60 million (Nov. 27). The drawing is at 10:59 p.m. Deadline 9:45 p.m. (in Michigan).

Also, the Michigan Lottery has joined a new daily game, Poker Lotto. More than 29,000 players won at least $2 on Nov. 26.

The next drawing is at 7:29 tonight. Deadline 7:08 p.m. Poker Lotto gives players a chance to play two games, an instant game at each retail terminal where the players see their cards drawn; and those same cards are good for the nightly drawing.

'Sharkeisha' Arrested? Fight Video Star Has Reportedly Been Collared [PHOTOS] - International Business Times

A brutal incident went viral on Instagram and Twitter Tuesday, with a girl called Sharkeisha punching another unsuspecting girl.  Instagram

"Sharkeisha" became the No. 1 trending topic on Twitter in the U.S. on Wednesday, after another woman in the middle of an argument went viral on Instagram and other social media sites.

And there may be a new twist in the case of the hard-fisted fighter, as unconfirmed reports alleging that the assailant has been arrested and supposed mugshots of the woman the world has come to know as "Sharkeisha" are swirling online.

There are not many concrete details about her possible arrest, but a number of Twitter users have uploaded photos of a woman who appears to resemble the one who instigated the one-sided fight in the popular video, and who has a name very similar to hers.

An iPhone screen-capture of one such mugshot, tweeted Wednesday morning by @desusnice, depicts a woman in a camoflauge-style shirt, and is tagged with the name "Sharkiesha Tyeshia Thompson," which may or may not be the name of the puncher in the video. It is not clear what the woman in question has been arrested for, or even if she is the same person seen in the infamous fight video. Here's @desusnice's photo:

Tagged "Ya'll can rest easy knowing Sharkeisha is in custody," the photograph had been retweeted nearly 300 times by early Wednesday afternoon.

But if online criminal record sites are to believed, this is not the first time "Sharkeisha" has been arrested, as multiple record search databases have published a mugshot of a "Sharkeisha Tyesha Thompson" of Charlotte, N.C., who closely resembles the girl in the above photograph. The records database NorthCarolina.arrests.org and other sites report that the photo of a woman in a red V-neck shirt was taken on Aug. 13, 2011, when Thompson was allegedly arrested on one charge of "uttering a forged instrument" and subsequently released on $500 bond. The sites describe Thompson as 20 years old, 5-foot-3 and weighing 190 pounds at the time of that previous alleged arrest, citing data collected by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department in North Carolina. Hanukkah 2013: Dates, Rituals, History And How-Tos For Celebrating The ... - Huffington Post

Hanukkah, the Jewish Festival of Lights, is celebrated for eight days beginning at sundown on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013. On the Hebrew calendar, the dates are 25 Kislev to 2 Tevet in the year 5774.

This year, some are celebrating "Thanksgivukkah," as Thanksgiving is celebrated the day after the first Hanukkah calendars are lit on Wednesday night. The convergence of these two holidays won't happen again for another 77,798 years, according to some calculations.

An eight-day celebration, Hanukkah commemorates the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem in the second century B.C.E. during the Maccabean revolt against oppressive Greek rulers. It is one of the most widely observed Jewish holidays and is celebrated by lighting a nine-branch candelabrum, commonly called a menorah. (Technically, the candelabrum for Hanukkah is called a hanukkiah to distinguish itself from the seven-branch menorah used in the Temple and described in Exodus 25.)

The story of Hanukkah is one of revolution and miracles: Greek influence over the Jews in the Land of Israel had become an affront to Jewish culture and ritual. Antiochus, the Greek ruler, forbade Jewish religious practice, so a small group of Jews, the Maccabees, revolted. These Jews eventually prevailed and, as a first order of business, restored the Holy Temple, which had been desecrated. The menorah in the Temple needed to be re-lit because, according to tradition, it should burn continuously. The Temple liberators found one vial of olive oil, enough for one day of light. Miraculously, the oil lasted for eight days.

Today, Jews everywhere light menorahs on each night of Hanukkah. Traditionally, one candle or flame is lit for each night until the eighth night, when all eight lights shine together. The menorah has a ninth "helper" flame -- known as the shamash -- used to light the other candles. This is necessary because in Jewish law the Hanukkah lights' only purpose is to visually proclaim the miracle of the holiday. Jews place the lit menorah in a prominent window in order to fulfill this commandment.

Gift giving is now a common practice on Hanukkah, and it is therefore a beloved time for Jewish children. Fried potato pancakes (latkes) and doughnuts (sufganiyot) are traditional fare, and a spinning top (dreidel) with four Hebrew letters has become synonymous with the holiday. The letters -- nun, gimel, hei, shin -- form an acronym for the message of Hanukkah: A great miracle happened there.

Lostprophets' Ian Watkins case: Ex-Ceop head warns others may slip through net - BBC News

Child sex abuse cases like Lostprophets singer Ian Watkins will slip through the net due to a lack of resources, a child protection expert has warned.

Jim Gamble, ex-head of the Child Exploitation and Online Protection centre (Ceop), wants more money invested in regional child protection teams to catch online abusers.

Watkins admitted the attempted rape of a baby on Tuesday.

The UK Government said spending on tackling abuse was being "ramped up".

Watkins, 36, from Pontypridd, admitted two counts of attempted rape and 12 other offences including sexual assault and taking, making and distributing indecent images of children.

He and two women changed their pleas shortly before their trial was due to start at Cardiff Crown Court.

Mr Gamble, a former senior police officer, warned against focusing on technology in online abuse cases, saying the problem was always people.

He believes there will be fewer arrests and prosecutions for online child abuse as a result of government policy.

Talking about the focus on blocking images from being seen, he told BBC Wales: "The work done by Google and Bing has done very little at all."

He resigned from Ceop in 2010 in protest at the decision to amalgamate the centre into the National Crime Agency, which he said meant there was not investment in it.

"Too few people in the policing world understand the nature of the people involved in child abuse," he said.

"We need to see more police officers engaging with the people."

He said even at Ceop he would be "shocked if there were more than two or three people" working online to search out people like Watkins.

"There will be child protection teams in all police forces but they will be small and they won't have national support."

He said there was a division between online and offline child abuse crime, which he said needed to be "joined up".

Mr Gamble also wants to see child abuse cases and online indecent image cases dealt with in the same way because a child was being abused in order to make the images.

He said "hardcore paedophiles" would "look at the Ian Watkins case and laugh", adding they would not stop unless the chance of arrest was significantly increased.

He said once the case had been analysed and the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) investigation was over he believed many in the protection community would identify "opportunities missed" to intervene at an earlier stage.

Crime Prevention Minister Norman Baker said tackling child sexual exploitation was a "top priority" for the UK Government.

"Far from cutting expenditure in this area we've been ramping it up," he added.

"The Home Office has allocated the National Crime Agency (NCA) more than £420m for its first year -the same amount previously allocated to the separate bodies within it.

"In fact, as part of the NCA, the Child Exploitation Online Protection Command has more resources and specialist skills to draw on, not less.

"The NCA also has international reach which will significantly strengthen the UK's capability to combat online child abuse."

Meanwhile, the IPCC is investigating whether South Wales Police acted in a "timely manner" in the Watkins' case after the force referred itself to the commission in January.

'Responding promptly'

Watkins committed some of the child sex offences he later admitted to while he was on bail after being initially arrested in September before being re-arrested and charged in December 2012.

One of the crimes he pleaded guilty to was conspiring to rape a child on 31 October.

The force said the delay between Watkins' first and subsequent arrests was one of the things the IPCC would be investigating.

South Wales Police had received information about Watkins from four other forcesin the period before he was arrested, and this will form part of the IPCC's examination.

It is also investigating a detective sergeant from south Wales over alleged inaction regarding reports made to the police.

Chief Superintendent Tim Jones, head of South Wales Police's professional standards department, said: "South Wales Police will fully support the Independent Police Complaints Commission's independent investigation and are committed to responding promptly to its findings.

"In view of the ongoing proceedings it is inappropriate to comment further at this time."

• Entertainment news website E! Online has apologised after wrongly using a picture of former Steps singer Ian H Watkins to illustrate its article about Lostprophets' front man Ian Watkins.

The website made a correction and said it "regrets this error."
