Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake Perform 'History of Rap' on The Tonight Show - TIME

I'm 57. I'm probably not the target demographic either, but I like Fallon and his new Tonight Show.  I am a die-hard Leno fan, but Fallon's humor is playful, humble, and not snarky like Letterman and O'Brien.  Like Leno, Fallon seem sincerely happy to be there and to have an audience to entertain.

In any even, a week is not enough time to judge the new show.  When Leno took over from Carson, the first few months were pretty lackluster. If you recall, he didn't hit his stride until they changed producers and got a new bandleader.

I'm pulling for Fallon, even though he took the Tonight Show from my town of Burbank to big-bad NYC (kidding, mostly.)
