"Blow" inspiration George Jung has been released from prison after nearly 20 years behind bars. Jung, portrayed by Johnny Depp in Ted Demme's 2001 film, is credited with establishing the U.S. cocaine market in the 1970s and '80s. The drug smuggler was believed to be responsible for nearly 90 percent of the coke in America at the time. Jung, 71, was scheduled to be released from FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey, but TMZ reports he was freed early and placed in a halfway house on the west coast to help with transitioning back into society.
The world's worst pitcher 50 Cent reunited with G-Unit at New York City's Hot 97 Summer Jam concert Sunday. The "In Da Club" rapper performed his hits with members of his hip-hop collective, including Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo and Young Buck. A fight allegedly broke out on stage, however, when Slow from Slowbucks tried to get on stage to settle a beef with someone in Fiddy's entourage. Fabolous escorted Slow off stage, but the rival group claims they were assaulted and had their chains stolen.

Oliver Stone will direct an Edward Snowden biopic, The Guardian newspaper has revealed. Word is the controversial filmmaker is already working on the screenplay about the "hero," who famously exposed the NSA's surveillance program. "This is one of the greatest stories of our time," Stone said. "A real challenge." The movie is tentatively titled "The Snowden Files" and aims to begin production by the end of the year, to compete with another film from Sony based on the book "No Place to Hide: Edward Snowden, the NSA, and the U.S. Surveillance State" by Glenn Greenwald.

Gunny for controversy? Khloe Kardashian's photo with French Montana is stirring up drama with fans of the reality star and rapper. An Instagram post shows Montana holding a machine gun and Kardashian chugging a bottle of champagne on the set of his "They Don't Love You No More" music video. Despite clearly being a prop, "Keeping Up with the Kardsahians" viewers left comments slamming the 29-year-old TV star for setting a bad example. "You are a role model!! Alcohol and guns DO NOT MIX," one user wrote.
